10,200 kg of carp and approx. 1,700 perch arrived in federal waters
The favorable spring weather and the prior trust of our anglers made it possible for our Association to carry out a coordinated, large-scale planting on March 8 on almost all stagnant waters under the management of the Association, after the perch, bream, bream and carp stocking in January-February. On several sections of the Rába River.
The stocked amount of fish was stocked from the lake unit of Tógazda Zrt. in Miké. The water areas affected by today's market carp planting were the following:
- Sárvíz lake in Gersekarát: 800 kg
- Lake Magyarszecsőd: 800 kg
- Lake Píspökmolnári: 600 kg
- Újperint mining pond: 700 kg
- Szombathely Boating Lake: 800 kg
- Szombathely Fishing Lake: 500 kg
- Kerkafalva Kétchatar lake: 400 kg
- Kerka lake in Kerkaszentkirály: 300 kg
- Hunting lake: 400 kg
- Lake Hársas in Máriaújfalu: 800 kg
- Vasvár lakes: 500 kg
- Lake Gencsapáti: 400 kg
- Drip tank: 300 kg
- Lake Rábasömjén: 300 kg
- Csánigi mining pond: 600 kg
- Lake Merseváti: 500 kg
- Celldömölki Brick Factory and Park lake: 500 kg
- Dammed section of Rába Ikervári: 500 kg
- Rába Ikervár artificial channel: 500 kg
After the planned installation, no ban was again ordered, so our fishers can indulge their passion the weekend after the installation and the upcoming holiday long weekend. Based on last year's experience as a fish watcher, we would like to draw the attention of fellow fishermen to the lower (min. 30 cm) and upper (max. 50 cm) size limits contained in the legislation and the fishing regulations, as well as the weekly (6 noble fish) and daily (2 carp) to comply with piece restrictions, which regulations differ from the National Fishing Regulations!
In addition, thanks to successful fisheries, 430 kg I-II. summer perch (20-80 dkg) were also planted on the given day, but they currently do not reach the size that can be kept, and are also protected by a prohibition period, so we ask our anglers to spare the newly planted sticklebacks, not to fish specifically for perch , and in case of an accidental catch, release it from the hook as gently as possible and immediately release it back into the water! Fuck me! According to the national fishing regulations, it is unethical and forbidden to fish specifically for protected or spawning fish species, as well as for undersized individuals of fish species protected by size restrictions, during a specific prohibition period. If fish that are undersized or subject to a specific ban are caught on the hook at the given fishing spot, the fishing method and, if necessary, the fishing spot must be changed in order to protect the fish stock.
Perch installations are expected to take place in the following water areas:
- Magyarszecsőd lake: 100 kg (approx. 400 pieces)
- Hársas lake in Máriaújfalu: 100 kg (approx. 400 pieces)
- Kerkafalva Kéthattar-tó: 50 kg (approx. 200 pieces)
- Kerka Lake in Kerkaszentkirály 30 kg (approx. 100 pieces)
- Hunting lake: 50 kg (approx. 200 pieces)
- Rába river (Körmend-Szentgotthárd) 100 kg (approx. 400 pieces)
According to our plans, the carp and predator plantings will continue in our fishing waters during March-April, and the acquisition of rare river species is also underway.
We ask T. Horgásztáras to take care of the native fish stock of our waters!
Our association works together with the associations to offer all anglers a joyful recreation and wonderful fishing experiences on Vasi Vize!
We hope they will continue to choose our waters and our community in 2024!
