The State Fishing Exam fee is free of charge from January 1, 2019, but requires prior registration on www.horgaszjegy.hu . Another condition for valid registration for the fishing exam is the completion of the angler registration, which you can complete by clicking here or at our member associations.
In order to facilitate the registration process and application for the exam, our Association, together with Dávid Balikó, created an “instructional” video, where Dávid demonstrates how to register in the HORINFO system available through the horgaszjegy.hu website and then how to easily prepare and apply for a free state fishing exam.

The fishing examination will take place nationwide from February 15, 2021 in a completely renewed electronic system, but it will still require a personal appearance!

Application and conditions for the exam:

The state fishing exam can be taken on an exam day announced by the fishing association or the fishing organization involved in the exam by it.

Anyone who is 10 years of age or older on the day of application can apply for the fishing exam.

The condition for applying for the fishing exam is the registration of a fishing card, which can be done on the website www.horgaszjegy.hu or at an association ticket sales point. You can register for the fishing exam ONLY by logging into the website www.hogaszjegy.hu (under the exams submenu within the Memberships and Permits menu). We cannot accept applications by phone or e-mail! It is important to know that if the announced exam dates are full, the exam dates are automatically no longer available and it is not possible to apply for them. You can register for free exam places until 12 noon the day before the exam.

The free study material and online practice test available in your profile on the website www.horgaszjegy.hu also help in preparing for the fishing exam.

Important information:

- They must bring their identity document with them to the fishing exam for data reconciliation, and the examinee must have the username and password required to log in to the www.horgaszjegy.hu website.

- All candidates must answer the exam questions in an online knowledge test on a tablet provided by our Association for the duration of the exam.

- After completing the exam, the system indicates the score achieved and automatically evaluates the exam as passed or failed.

- During the exam, a minimum of 30 out of the maximum 45 points must be achieved. Any retake is only possible at another time, which is also free of charge.
