Despite the scorching heat, 5,750 kg of carp arrived in federal waters

Due to the heat and the success of the fishing, as well as the capacity of the available transport equipment, the planned stocking quantities on Monday had to be slightly modified, but all the planned water areas benefited from the fishing, except for the dammed section of the Rába River in Ikervár. Market carp stocking worth nearly ten million forints was carried out by the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations.

The stocking of carp, available at a higher price and caught in the summer, in smaller quantities compared to the capacity of the transport tubs, ensures the safe satisfaction of the greater demand for angler fish during the summer holidays, even in extremely hot weather.

Aranyponty ZRT on Friday. 1,200 kg of beautiful carp arrived from the site in Rétimajor, of which 300-300 kg went into the Celldömölk Téglagyár lake, our Csánig, Mersevát and Nagypirit lakes.

On Monday, Togazda ZRT. After quick and professional fishing, 4,550 kg of mixed scaly and mirror carp were loaded and planted in a fish pond near Nagyberki. Due to a technical fault of one of the fish transport vehicles and the expected warm weather, the following quantities of fish entered the waters of the Association on Monday, contrary to the plan:

Vasvár lakes: 300 kg
Lake Püspökmolnári: 350 kg
Lake Magyarszecsődi: 480 kg
Lársas-tó: 500 kg
Újperint I. no. lake: 300 kg
Szombathely Boating Lake: 300 kg
Szombathely fishing lake: 300 kg
Rába Ikervár man-made canal: 300 kg
Lake Rábasömjén: 310 kg
Kerkaszentkirály backwater: 300 kg
Kéthattar lake in Kerkavalvi: 300 kg
Hunting lake: 310 kg

The summer fish stocking will soon continue, no ban was ordered after the stocking. Once again, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that, in contrast to the national regulations, the number of carp that can be kept in all water areas under our management is 2 pieces, the size of which is min. 30 and max. 50 cm! In addition to the accurate and regular keeping of the catch log, our fish wardens also check the weight of the captured catch, in the event of a 0.5 kg discrepancy, they are entitled to revoke the area ticket! T. Fishing partners are requested to act carefully during their fishing in order to avoid inconveniences and penalties due to irregularities, and to inform themselves in advance about the local fishing regulations valid for the given water area!

It's still not too late to renew your iron fishing license for the summer season and spend your free time at the water's edge with family or friends!
