XI. Pinka Valley Fishing Day
Fish Soup Maker and Fish Dish Maker Competition Announcement

The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations welcomes teams and groups of friends to apply for the fish dish making competition - made from domestic fish .

Please note: If you would like to participate in both categories, please submit a separate team entry. A team can only participate in the judging with one fish dish in one category.

Competition location : Grassy area around the lake next to the Alpine Inn and Fishing Tourism Center.

We provide entrants with:

Reimbursement for ingredients up to a value of 10,000 HUF against invoice,
10 plates + spoons,
a cleaning kit (paper towels, sponge, waste collection bag),
Use of 1 table and 2 benches,
firewood if required.

Planned program:

8.00 - Registration at the Alpine Inn and Fishing Tourism Center
8.00 - 12.00 Fish dish making competition
12.30 - 13.00 Judging of fish dishes
15.00 - Announcement of results

Other information:

For the ingredients required to prepare the fish dish (fish purchase, spices, etc.), we accept cash invoices issued in the name of the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations up to a value of 10,000 HUF, which will be paid during the registration prior to the fish dish preparation competition.
The cash invoice must be issued with the following information:
(Buyer's name: County Fishing Association; Registered office: 9795 Vaskeresztes, 165/4. hrsz.; Tax number: 19245175-2-18)
Each team is responsible for purchasing the fish needed for the dish they want to prepare before the competition!
The teams must provide other supplies (utensils, etc.).
It is strictly forbidden to start with fish stock brought from home!
Parking by car near cooking areas is only possible during loading and unloading.
We recommend using a parasol or gazebo to protect yourself from the intense summer heat.
Everyone participates in the competition at their own risk, and teams cannot claim liability or compensation from the organizing body for any injuries suffered.

You can nominate by indicating the category of fish soup and other fish dish makers!

Application deadline: July 7, 2025, 10 a.m.

Teams entering the competition must agree to provide a tasting of the fish dish they have prepared to at least 10 interested people between 12:30 and 15:00.

Awards: Teams that place 1-3 will receive a gift and souvenir.
