Competition announcement
The Vas Police Leisure and Sports Association and the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations are organizing a PAIRS fishing competition called the DWARF FISHING CUP on Lake Lukácsházi Aber II on July 26, 2025 (Saturday), to which we invite all our dear fellow anglers!
The aim of the competition is:
Spending free time usefully, catching the named fish species, strengthening friendship and cooperation.
Competition organization, rules:
- We are looking for teams of two to enter the competition. Individual competitors are not allowed. The competition will be held in a 5-hour round (9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.).
- Teams of two compete side by side at the fishing spot they have drawn.
- Fishing method: any, can be float or bottom fishing
- During the competition, competitors can use 1 – 1 rod with 1 – 1 hook.
- Each competitor is required to collect the fish they catch in a separate net.
Bait and feed material limit: maximum 12 liters of bait material [mixed, pierced, ready, in a wet state, including corn, seeds and all other non-toxic ingredients that are harmless to the aquatic environment and vegetation], 2.5 liters of bait [bone, pinkie, earthworm,)
Regarding further competition rules, the National Competition Rules and the position of the Organizing Committee shall prevail.

You can register by calling 06 30 320 1127 or by sending an email to gerencser62imre@gmail.com to the main organizer, Imre Gerencsér, indicating the team name and the members of the pair. We can accept applications for a maximum of 22 teams!
Registration deadline: Tuesday, July 15, 2025, 12 noon, and on-site in limited numbers.

Evaluation: In teams, the weight of the caught catfish determines the final ranking. In individuals, the better catch result ranks.
Prizes for the competition:
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in the team competition
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in the individual competition
- The winning team can keep the traveling trophy established for this purpose for 1 year.
