Competition announcement
The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations will once again organize the Vas Waters Friendly Boil Team Competition , the planned venue of which is Lake Magyarszecsődi . If, during the preparation of the competition, it is possible to procure a sufficient amount of carp over 7 kg and place them in the Döröskei Reservoir by July 15, 2026, the venue of the competition may change to Lake Döröskei .
The Organizer will inform the participating teams separately about any possible change in the location.
Date: August 26–29, 2026 (Wednesday–Saturday)
Planned duration of the competition: 72 hours
Entry fee: 120,000 HUF / team
Please pay the competition entry fee as soon as possible after registration, but no later than within 5 working days , to the bank account number 72100237-11042428 , to the account of the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations .

Number of people
Only teams of 2 people can participate in the competition.
The competition will be held if a minimum of 8 teams register.
The maximum acceptable number of participants is 10 teams .
Remuneration
1st place team:
240,000 HUF + trophy + gift package
2nd place team:
180,000 HUF + trophy + gift package
3rd place team:
120,000 HUF + trophy + gift package

The planned course of the competition
Day 1 – August 26, 2026 / Wednesday /
07.00 – Meeting
07.15–07.30 – Technical briefing, draw
07.30–09.00 – Occupying fishing spots, setting up camp
09.15 – The competition begins with a bugle call
It is forbidden to throw, pull in or feed before the horn sounds to signal the start of the competition.
Day 4 – August 29, 2026 / Saturday /
09.15 – The competition ends with a horn blast
10.00 – Announcement of results
Competition rules
- Only teams of 2 people can participate in the competition.
- A maximum of 4 fishing rods can be used per team.
- Only carp and grass carp over 6 kg are included in the competition.
- The teams' fishing spots will be determined by a draw. The draw will be made according to the competition rules.
- Anyone who does not arrive on time for the draw will receive a fishing spot from the remaining starting spots.
- According to the planned track layout, 10 sectors will be created. If fewer teams enter, starting positions will be left on both sides of the track.
- The boat dock area is excluded from the race course.
- Lighting of the sector is mandatory at night.
Rules for feeding and baiting
Baiting is only allowed with the following:
- boilie,
- pop-up boilie,
- balanced boilie.
The use of liquid flavoring is permitted, but in a maximum amount of 0.2 dl / day / team .
Only the following materials may be used for feeding purposes:
- boilie,
- boiled corn,
- hemp,
- chickpeas,
- maple seed,
- cooked wheat.
The daily feeding amount is a maximum of 4 kg per team , a mixture of boilies and seeds.
The use of pellets is prohibited.
The use of tiger nuts in any form is prohibited , except for boilies containing tiger nut powder, which is permitted.
The use of bait boats, spombs, slingshots and throwing tubes is permitted.
Mandatory fish protection equipment
Each team is required to have the following fish protection equipment:
- carp cradle,
- carp mattress,
- large, densely woven landing net,
- floating scale,
- 2 carp bags.

Fish must always be treated with care. After weighing, fish must be released as soon as possible.
Consideration
The catch must be reported to the organizers by phone.
The weighing will take place after the organizers arrive. The fish must be stored safely until the weighing, in compliance with fish protection regulations.
Only carp and grass carp over 6 kg are included in the weighing.
Visitor rules
Visitors can stay on the lake between 07:00 and 19:00 during the competition.
The intention to visit must be notified to the organizers in advance.
Visitors are not allowed to bring any fishing equipment, bait or feeding material into the sector.
Parking, order and cleanliness
Vehicles may only be parked in designated areas.
Competitors are required to continuously collect waste generated at their fishing spot.
At the end of the competition, trash must be placed in the designated container.
Fishing spots must be left clean and tidy.
Other provisions
In other matters not regulated in this announcement, the National Professional Competition Regulations of the MOHOSZ and the position of the Organizing Committee shall prevail.
The competition is friendly, but sportsmanship, fish protection rules, and compliance with the organizers' instructions are mandatory for all participants.
