Two border lake Kerka village

The water area was created during the recultivation of the reservoir that reduces the flood peak in Lower Szenterzsébet. The fishing pond is filled with water and replenished from the Kerka stream. With the infill block dam in the 42+338 km section of Kerka, max. A diked water level of 194.50 mBf can be produced. Branching out of the dammed area is the feeder channel at the Kerka 42+341 km section, which is 1040 m long, 1.0 m wide at the bottom, and has a ratio of 1:1.5. it leads its water into the lake. There are three grooves in the manhole, one for placing the grids, two for sealing with inlays.

The draining sluice allows the fishing pond to be drained and the Kerka branch of Csesztreg to be supplied with water. The length of the art object is 26.60 m, its inflow threshold level is 191.80 mBf, and its outflow level is 191.57 mBf. The pipe culvert is a concrete pipe with an inner diameter of 60 cm, the roof level of the shaft is 194.49 mBf. Three grooves in the manhole ensure the placement of the grids and the two-row inlay panel closure. At the upper end of the flood reservoir of the pipe culvert, a flap closure prevents the flow of floodwaters into the lake. The discharge channel leads from the discharge sluice to the Kerka bed, and opens into the Kerka on the upstream side of the water level control sluice, at the 40+925 km section. Its length is 664 m, its bottom width is 1.0 m, and its ratio is 1:1.5. The upper section of the Kerka is connected to the bed of the Kerka branch in Csesztregi by a channel at the foot of the floodplain of the valley barrier dam, so that by closing the Kerka water control sluice, water can be supplied to the Kerka branch in Csesztregi for water replacement purposes. The size of the water area is practically 5.5 ha, its coastline is not too indented, and it is easily accessible. Its fish stock - despite the fact that it was not used for fishing before - is diverse. In addition to the carp, there are breams, bream, baleen, pike and perch among the predators, and several species of protected fish find their living conditions. We are not aware of the extremely protected fish species that occur only in the subject water area.
