A XVII. For the second correspondence round of the Vasi Vizeken Primary School Competition, 13 teams submitted problem solutions. Out of the teams starting at the Competition, the top 10 made it to the Iron Cross on-site final after two rounds.

The on-site final will take place in Vaskeresztes on Friday, June 3, 2022 , with theDecathlon Szombathely Sports Store as the main sponsor.

To participate in the final, we ask all teams that have entered to send us online by filling out the registration form available here.
May 24, 2022 (Tuesday) until 10.00.

During the on-site theoretical competition, we want to explore the acquired knowledge about fish and fishing rules, by solving test-type tasks, with which each team will bring writing instruments and scissors for a possible DIY task. Recommended literature for the preparation: Károly Pintér: Halai Magyarország c. book and the on-line fishing exam curriculum published by MOHOSZ, which can be downloaded for free by clicking here >>>

In addition to testing the theoretical knowledge, a team fishing competition will take place on the Iron Cross Alpine Lake in the final. Details of the final will be notified to the teams concerned by email, but the official letter can also be downloaded here.

Planned course of the on-site competition:

8.30-8.40 Arrival, registration (Fishing Tourism Center - Event Space)
8.40-8.50 Opening
8.50-9.50 Solving a theoretical problem
9.50-10.30 Preparing for the fishing competition - Alpine Lake
10.30-12.30 Fish catching competition ( We provide a sandwich package for lunch)
12.30-13.30 Evaluation
14.00 Announcement of results

The final result of the competition will be determined as follows:
Correspondence number that counts as the final result of a correspondence round + Venue theoretical round position number + Fishing competition position number = Aggregate position number.
The team with the lowest total rankings wins (In the event of a tie, the outcome of the correspondence round will be decided)
