Successfully implemented carp stocking of nearly 9,000 kg
Between May 29 and June 5, 2025, our Association planted a total of nearly 90 tons of carp in the waters of Vas County, so everything was in place for a fantastic fishing trip for the long weekend and the start of the summer season!
The majority of the catchable sized carps were transported from the Marcali site of TÓGAZDA Halászati ZRT to the following locations in several stages over the past ten days:
• Szombathely Boating Lake: 600 kg
• Szombathely Fishing Lake: 500 kg
• Újperint I. gravel pit lake: 600 kg
• Gencsapáti Fishing Lake: 350 kg
• Csepreg Brick Factory Pond: 250 kg
• Lake Kerkaszentkirály: 300 kg
• Kerkafalva Kéthatár-tó: 300 kg
• Lake Vadasa: 300 kg
• Rábasömjén Lake: 300 kg
• Rába Ikervár dammed: 300 kg
• Rába Ikervár power plant canal: 300 kg
• Csánig mining lake: 650 kg
• Répcelak C&R lake: 50 kg
• Celldömölk Brick Factory and Park Lake: 500 kg
• Lake Merseváti: 290 kg
• Půspökmolnár gravel pit lake: 700 kg
• Lake Hársas in Máriaújfalu: 700 kg
• Magyarszecsőd gravel pit lake: 1000 kg
• Vasvár lakes: 600 kg
During June, more than 7,000 kg of carp will arrive for the start of the summer break!
After the installations, no bans were imposed in any water area, so all our fishing friends can indulge their passion in peace during the holiday long weekend!
We remind all anglers to follow local regulations:
• Lower size limit: min. 30 cm
• Upper size limit: max. 60 cm
• Weekly catch limit: 6 noble fish
• Daily catch limit: 2 carp
Please enter the caught carp accurately and immediately in the catch log! In case of a 0.5 kg discrepancy during inspection, the territorial ticket may be withheld!

From January, personal administration (e.g. ticket exchange, fishing card application, etc.) will be possible at the Association's customer service office in Vaskeresztő by prior appointment. Appointments can be requested by phone at +36 94-506-835; +36 70 3399 703, or by e-mail at info@vasivizeken.hu. After that, colleagues will continue to be at the disposal of fellow anglers in 2025 according to the following customer service order:
✅ Monday: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM;
✅ Tuesday: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM;
✅ Wednesday: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM;
✅ Thursday: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM;
✅ Friday: 8:15 AM – 2:45 PM;
❎ Saturday-Sunday: no customer service.
