Significant perch stocking has occurred throughout the entire Rába section of the county!
The significant stocking of carp in March – nearly 20 tons – and the release of 15,000 river fish on Fish Day were followed by the release of brown trout and brook trout at the beginning of the week. On Wednesday, another high-value shipment of fish arrived in the waters of our Association.
The 410 kg mixed-size perch, which our professional fish keepers deployed along the entire Vas County section of the Rába River, was loaded at the Zalaszentgrót site of TÓGAZDA Halászati ZRT. The deployments also affected the Nick, Rábapaty, Molnaszecsőd, Körmend, Magyarlak and Alsószölnök areas, including the lower and upper waters of the dammed water bodies.
Based on the experiences of our fish guards and river anglers, the established sections provide suitable conditions and food for the introduced predators. We would like to draw the attention of T. Fishing friends that the prohibition period for perch expires on April 30th, the size limit is a minimum of 30 cm, of which a maximum of 2 pieces can be kept!
Our association and the associations continue to work to offer every angler a joyful recreation and wonderful fishing experiences on the Vasi Vizes! Fishing rod in hand, the season can begin!

From January, personal administration (e.g. ticket exchange, fishing card application, etc.) will be available at the Association's customer service office in Vaskeresztő by prior appointment. After that, colleagues will continue to be at the disposal of fellow anglers in 2025 according to the following customer service order:

✅ Tuesday: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM;
✅ Wednesday: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM;
✅ Thursday: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM;
✅ Friday: 8:15 AM – 2:45 PM;
❎ Saturday-Sunday: no customer service.
