Press release on the reconstruction of Parktó in Celldömölk

Within the framework of the Széchenyi 2020 program, the reconstruction of the "small Téglagyári lake" in Celldömölk was completed as part of the call for tender for the renewal of public spaces under the project ID number TOP-7.1.1-16-H-ERFA-2020-00543. The LOKOMOTÍV Horgász Egyesület realized the project with 18.48 million forints of non-refundable support.

The purpose of the investment: Reviving the forgotten, aging, marshy Park Lake, which hides next to the Fishing Pond, creating and maintaining a new community space with an orderly environment suitable for fishing and relaxation for the future.

In the framework of the reconstruction work, the dredging of the lake bed, arrangement of the shore, creation of its profile, and the eradication, thoughtful planting and care of overgrown coastal vegetation were realized. Complemented by the construction of a footpath around the lake, the placement of rest benches, garbage containers and educational signs, and the tidying up of the parking lot next to the fishing pond.

The lake could be used by anglers (according to a separate fishing order), hikers, dog walkers, and nature lovers from the fall of 2022.
