Nice trout were caught in the waters
After the significant stocking of nearly 20 tons of carp in March and the stocking of 15,000 river fish on Fish Day, another high-value fish shipment arrived in the waters of our Association on Monday, March 24, 2025.
200 kg of native brown trout, mostly hook-aged, were released from the Vaskerestes trout farm operated by Felsőcsatár K&K OIL KFT. into the following waters:
- 75 kg, approx. 300 pcs of the Pinka stream
- 50 kg, approx. 150 pcs from the Gyöngyös stream
- 75 kg, approx. 300 pcs from the Répce River
Csaba Kállai, the manager of the trout farm, and Tibor Monos, a specialist in artificial fly fishing, also contributed to the installation, to which we would like to thank them! The species, which is sensitive to the dissolved oxygen content of the water, is expected to populate the available water spaces and find their living conditions within a short time.
We would like to draw the attention of T. Fishing friends that the ban period for brown trout expires on March 31st, and the size restrictions in our county are stricter than the national regulations: a minimum of 30 cm, of which 2 can be kept! [🎣]
Our association and the associations continue to work to offer every angler a joyful recreation and wonderful fishing experiences on the Vasi Vizes! Fishing rod in hand, the season can begin!

From January, personal administration (e.g. ticket exchange, fishing card application, etc.) will be possible at the Association's customer service office in Vaskeresztő by prior appointment. After that, colleagues will continue to be at the disposal of fellow anglers in 2025 according to the following customer service order:

✅ Wednesday: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM;
✅ Thursday: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM;
✅ Friday: 8:15 AM – 2:45 PM;
❎ Saturday-Sunday: no customer service.
