Carp stocking on Zala and Vasi lakes
With last Friday's installation, the annual stocking of noble fish in the fishing waters of Vas County already exceeds 60 tons. And on September 20, during a new installation, 4,200 kg of carp will arrive in several stagnant waters throughout the county. In addition to carp, other fish species are also expected to be planted during the autumn, in order to diversify the fishing opportunities and the fish fauna of iron waters.
On September 13, 2024, 550 kg of market carp arrived in our Zala lakes below:
- Kerkafalva, Lake Kétchatar: 300 kg
- Kerkaszentkirály, Lake Kerka: 250 kg
In the continuation, on September 20, new plantings will take place in several fishing waters of Vas County, a total of 4,200 kg of carp will be placed in the following lakes:
· Boating lake in Szombathely: 450 kg
· Szombathely Fishing Lake: 300 kg
· Újperint mine pond: 350 kg
· Gencsapáti Fishing Lake: 250 kg
· Drip: 250 kg
· Hunting lake: 250 kg
· Lake Magyarszecsód: 400 kg
· Píspökmolnári lake: 300 kg
· Lake Hársas in Máriaújfalu: 400 kg
· Vasvár lakes: 350 kg
· Csánigi mining lake: 300 kg
· Lake Rábasömjén: 300 kg
Celldömölk lakes: 300 kg
We draw the attention of T. Horgásztársak:
• to comply with the lower (min. 30 cm) and upper (max. 50 cm) size limits, as well as the weekly (6 noble fish) and daily (2 carp) size limits contained in the legislation and the fishing regulations, which regulations differ from the National Fishing Regulations!
• accurate and correct keeping of the catch log in accordance with the legal requirements, with particular regard to the weight of the fish caught and kept, as our fish wardens check it, and significant deviations result in sanctions;
The Presidency of the Association once again supported that from August 1, 2024, it is possible to exchange six-month adult (HUF 48,000) and youth (HUF 24,000) area permits for the Vasi waters at a DISCOUNT PRICE.
Our association works together with the associations to offer all anglers a joyful recreation and wonderful fishing experiences on Vasi Vize! We hope they will continue to choose our waters and our community in 2024!

From January, the possibility of personal administration (e.g. ticket exchange, fishing card application, etc.) is provided by appointment in advance at the customer service office of the Association in Vaskerzeste. After that, the colleagues will continue to be available to fellow anglers in the following customer service order in 2024:
