Another 600 kg carp stocking in Ikervár

On Thursday, fish were restocked in the Vasi Vizes. Carp weighing 300 kilograms each arrived from the Tógazda Zrt. site and were placed in the Ikervár dammed section of the Rába River and the Ikervár artificial canal.

The aim of the installation is to continue to provide anglers in the region with an exciting and varied fishing opportunity. At the same time, our association once again draws attention to the fact that strict safety and fishing regulations are in force in the Rába and Ikervár artificial canal areas, compliance with which is in everyone's common interest.

⚠️ Featured rules

• Staying and fishing are prohibited in the area of the dam on the Rába River in Ikervár, as well as within 50 meters before and after it.
• Staying and fishing are prohibited in the entire area of the fish ladder located in Ikervár.
• It is strictly forbidden to stay or fish on the 0467/2 hrsz sub-water channel, from the power plant to the mouth of the Csörnöc stream.
• Fishing is prohibited on both banks of the Ikervár artificial canal from the drift deflector to the inlet lock, and up to the end of the concrete basin below the inlet lock.
• Fishing is prohibited in the fenced area of the hydroelectric power plant on the artificial canal, as well as within 50 meters before and after it.
• Car traffic and parking are prohibited on the embankment and embankment foot of the Ikervár artificial canal (privately owned areas closed to public traffic).
• In case of fishing in a trashed area, the area ticket will be withdrawn immediately.
• For accident prevention reasons, fishing must be suspended during waterfront work (mowing, grass cutting).

All fish caught must be recorded immediately and accurately in the catch log. During a fish guard inspection, if the fish is 0.5 kg off balance, the area tag may be withheld.

Our association especially asks anglers to protect our common waters by following the rules and ensure the conditions for cultured fishing. Preserving the natural values of the Rába River and the Ikervár artificial canal is a shared responsibility for all of us.
