A total of 850 kg of carp arrived in three iron fishing ponds
On June 20, 2024, the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations planted 850 kg of carp in three beautiful fishing lakes in Vas from the Tógazda Zrt. Since the beginning of the year, nearly 30 tons of carp have entered the waters of Vaši, and another 6,000 kg is expected to arrive next week, depending on the fisheries.
During the most recent stocking, the following lakes received catchable-sized carp:
- Kavicsbánya lake in Magyarszecsőd: 300 kg
- Csepregi lake: 250 kg
- Lake Celldömölki: 300 kg
You can already enjoy fishing this weekend and try to catch the newly arrived carp as there is no ban on the affected fishing waters. Remember to respect the local size and piece restrictions: the lower size limit is 30 cm, the upper 50 cm, and 6 noble fish per week and 2 carp per day can be caught in iron waters. These regulations differ from the National Fishing Regulations, so always be careful!

In the customer service office of the Association in Vaskerzeste, starting in January, the possibility of personal administration (e.g.: changing tickets, applying for a fishing card, etc.) is provided by appointment in advance. After that, the colleagues will continue to be available to fellow anglers in the following customer service order in 2024:

✅ Wednesday: 8:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.;
✅ Thursday: 8:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.;
✅ Friday: 8:15 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.;
❎ Saturday-Sunday: no customer service.
