250 kg of carp arrived in Kerka Lake in Kerkaszentkirály
Our latest fish stocking took place on Wednesday, September 3: a total of 250 kg of catchable, market-sized carp were placed in Lake Kerkaszentkirály. During the summer, due to the low water level, it was not possible to stock the fish, but now that the water level has stabilized, the carp have arrived.
Important local rules on the lake:
- In addition to the catch log, every angler is required to enter the fish caught in the "recording book" on the lakeside after finishing fishing (located next to the bridge leading to the island).
- Fishing is prohibited in the designated conservation area.
- It is forbidden to keep carp larger than 50 cm or 5 kg! (measured from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail)
Fishing can begin, no ban has been imposed! We look forward to seeing photos of the beautiful catches this weekend!

From January, personal administration (e.g. ticket exchange, fishing card application, etc.) will be possible at the Association's customer service office in Vaskeresztő by prior appointment. After that, colleagues will continue to be at the disposal of fellow anglers in 2025 according to the following customer service order:

✅ Tuesday: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM;
✅ Wednesday: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM;
✅ Thursday: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM;
✅ Friday: 8:15 AM – 2:45 PM;
❎ Saturday-Sunday: no customer service.
