As nature awakens and the waters slowly warm up, an exciting time begins for anglers. Our association ensured that the watersides were filled with life this spring as well, as a large-scale carp stocking campaign was launched! In the first phase, a total of 82 tons of catchable carp were stocked on Monday and Tuesday, and then another 88 tons arrived on Friday! All of this was made possible thanks to the association's financial resources, the successful work of domestic fish farmers, and the ÁPFE-VII/2/2025. MOHOSZ grant.

This initial installation not only served to enrich the fish population, but also as a thank you to the anglers who have shown their trust in our community by purchasing their area tickets. The goal is clear: to offer unforgettable fishing experiences in addition to the spring sunshine and fresh air to all those who spend their free time by the water's edge.

2025. 03. 10. (Monday) – Installation from the Buzsáki site of the Balatoni Halgazdáklosti Nonprofit ZRT:
• Döröske Reservoir: 1,400 kg
• Magyarszecsőd gravel pit lake: 700 kg
• Lake Hársas: 1,400 kg
• Rába River Twin Castle: 450 kg
• Rába Ikervár power plant canal: 450 kg
• Rába River Nick: 450 kg
• Rába River Körmend: 300 kg
• Rába River Alsószölnök: 300 kg
• Marcal bobsleigh section: 150 kg
• Pinkamindszent Lake: 250 kg
• Újperinti No. 1 mining lake: 600 kg

2025. 03. 11. (Tuesday) – Installation from the Buzsáki location of the Balatoni Halgazdáklosti Nonprofit ZRT:
• Döröske reservoir: 700 kg
• Lake Abert I: 600 kg
• Lake Abert II: 600 kg

The Balaton carp, known as an independent regional species, has also arrived in Döröské. It is an elongated, scaly carp species. These fish are excellently adapted to dammed water bodies, so both the fishermen in Rába and the lakeside fishermen can be happy with the new placement.

Important information! No ban was imposed following the installations, so our anglers were able to indulge their passion during the holiday weekend following the installation.
As always, we would like to draw the attention of T. Fishing friends to the lower (min. 30 cm) and upper (max. 60 cm) size restrictions, as well as the weekly (6 noble fish) and daily (2 carp) quantity restrictions set out in the law and the fishing regulations, which differ from the National Fishing Regulations! We would like to remind everyone that only carp, crucian carp and dwarf catfish can be kept on Lake Döröskei. Other fish species cannot be taken this year.
In addition, we ask all anglers to immediately and accurately record the carp they catch in their catch log, as if our fish wardens check the fish, even if the fish is 0.5 kg off the mark, the territorial ticket may be withheld!

Thank you for choosing our waters and community! Our association and the associations continue to work to offer every angler a joyful recreation and wonderful fishing experiences on the Vasi Vizes! Fishing rod in hand, the season can begin!

The cooperation agreement signed between MOHOSZ and our Association in December allows daily, weekly and annual fishing tickets issued for Vás waters to be valid for the Döröskei Reservoir from January 1, 2025 - without having to exchange for a separate regional ticket. ( We wrote about this in detail here. ) It is important to mention that this year the Vás territorial tickets did not increase in price, and thus the number of water areas available for fishing did not decrease, despite the fact that the local government will utilize the Sárvíz Lake in Gersekarát itself from February 1, 2025.

Further useful information:

From January, personal administration (e.g. ticket exchange, fishing card application, etc.) will be available at the Association's customer service office in Vaskeresztő by prior appointment. Appointments can be requested by phone at +36 94-506-835; +36 70 3399 703, or by e-mail at info@vasivizeken.hu. After that, colleagues will continue to be at the disposal of fellow anglers in 2025 according to the following customer service order:
