1,250 kg of perch were planted in federal waters on Monday
On November 25, the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations realized another significant catch, in the framework of which a total of 1,250 kilograms of II. summer perch were planted in different water areas. The installation took place not only with the cooperation of the association and local fishing associations, but also the local elementary school students in Püspökmolnári joined the program, helping to successfully deploy the stock. This community cooperation not only supports the maintenance of the fish stock, but is also an important step in strengthening the environmental awareness of the younger generations.
The perch are from Tógazda Halászati Zrt in Zalaszentgrót. came from its site and were then placed in the following water areas:

📌 Kéthattar-tó Kerka village: 50 kg
The perch stocking in Ikervár was realized with the partial support of the Savaria Sport Fishing Association of Vas County and the Spartacus Sport Fishing Association of Új-perint.
In the course of the year, significant predatory fishing was already carried out in the waters of Vasu in addition to the above: 1,505 kg of pike, 830 kg of perch, as well as whitefish and brown trout were released. With the stocking of perch at the end of the year, the total annual amount of stocked predatory fish exceeded 3.5 tons. This serves not only to maintain the predatory fish population, but also to enhance the experience of fellow anglers.
The association emphasizes the importance of following fishing rules:
- In the case of perch, the maximum quantity that can be kept is 2 pcs.
- We ask that you pay special attention to the observance of the size limit, as well as to the professionalism of hook release and release.
- Accurate keeping of the catch log is also of particular importance, as discrepancies discovered during inspections may result in sanctions.
The aim of the association is to provide all anglers with joyful recreation and unforgettable experiences in the local waters. More bream plantings are expected in November, mainly in sections of the Pinka stream.
The plantings were carried out with the partial support of the MOHOSZ ÁPFE-VI/4/2024 "planting and reintroduction of standard and preferred native fish species" tender!
