Elektromosok Sports Fishing Association
ShareOur association was founded in 1946 in Szombathely by the then ÉDÁSZ. with the participation of its employees under the name Elektromos. Later, several other companies joined the members, but it still only formed a closed community. At the beginning of the 1990s, the Association organized an open membership drive, after which the number of members steadily increased.

Our current membership is 600 people. We maintain regular contact with our members, arrange permits for them, organize and maintain a competition team. Ever since competitive fishing has existed as a sport, our teams have been one of the most successful participants in competitions in the county. Our annual activity also includes organizing courses, education and competitions for child anglers, thereby promoting this leisure activity among young people as well. Every year we organize the association fishing competition for the members. In addition to members of the association, members of other associations can also start the competition. In case of successful participation, non-association members will also be rewarded with a special prize. In addition to the annual competition, we also organize other programs that promote the protection of aquatic habitats, e.g. dwarf catfishing competitions.
