Vaskeresztes Alpine Fishing Lake (C&R)

The artificially created fishing pond was created at the same time as the Alpesi Fogadó was built.

It provides an excellent opportunity for children to learn basic fishing methods. At the same time, the lake's rich fish population offers a great experience for adult anglers as well.

During the winter period, we started our lake trout fishing opportunity on a trial basis, therefore you can fish on the Alpes fishing pond in Vaskerestes between December 1, 2023 and April 15, 2024 under the following conditions:

• Fishing is permitted only with 1 rod, beardless hook - artificial bait - spinning and fly method.
• The use of all kinds of artificial rubber bait (twister, grub, worm, crab, rubber fish, etc.) is PROHIBITED!
• When fishing with artificial bait, it is mandatory to use knot-free or rubberized diving mouths!
• All caught fish must be carefully freed from the hook and released back into the water as soon as possible - avoiding touching them with your hands - and, if possible, the hook must be unhooked with metal tweezers or pliers.
• You can fish from sunrise to sunset, or until the street lights are turned on! Fishing in the dark is FORBIDDEN!

We welcome anglers interested in trout fishing, we ask everyone to comply with the regulations regarding fish protection!

The renewed environment of the area, the Alpesi Fogadó, with its restaurant, covered seating area, and event tent, is often the venue for different programs.

Which, with the recently completed playground, can provide pleasant relaxation and unclouded entertainment from the smallest to the largest.

Several times a year, the lake also serves as the venue for smaller competitions, on which occasions catches of tens of kilos are not uncommon.

Anyone can fish at the disabled fishing spot on the lake, but the fishing spot must be handed over when a disabled person arrives. You can only fish on the lake with a rod from sunrise to sunset. The office of the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations is located in the Fishing Tourist Center next to the lake. Here, during customer reception hours, they can help visitors with all matters related to iron fishing. Next to the lake, a restaurant with hot cuisine and a boarding house await those who want to relax.

Pecs can fish on the Alpesi fishing trail without changing a day ticket if they have an annual Vas County area ticket!

Ticket prices for holders of a state fishing license:

• Adult C&R (over 18): HUF 1,500
• Replacement C&R (under the age of 18): HUF 1,000

Day tickets valid for the Alpine Lake can be purchased online via the horgaszzegy.hu website after logging in to your personal fishing profile!

The above types of fishing license do not entitle you to take fish away, all fish - with the exception of dwarf catfish - must be gently released back into the water immediately after the catch!

You can fish with 1 stick, 1 single-pronged hook without a beard, using the float and bottom method, except for the winter trout mode.
