Year-end fishing experience
In addition to accompanying a record number of fish batches and supervising the deployment, as well as checking the accompanying documents, their professional fishermen, as well as police patrols and social fish guards assisting them, did not get bored.
In the course of their work, our fishermen paid special attention to the post-deployment inspections, as a result of which, unfortunately, several people violated the catch limit or “forgot” to fill in the catch log.
We cannot say that there is still fishing without a license, but it is much more common to have an irregularity in possession of an existing license: three-rod fishing and breaches of restrictions in favor of fish and anglers.
In addition to the coordinated inspections carried out with the boat and on the waterfront, night-time and complex inspections were also carried out, affecting one water body at a time. The vast majority of anglers welcome our staff, understand that continuous presence and control can be matched by a fish stock, and often reduce the presence of fishermen, but eventually understand that it is not possible to use a separate fish guard for each body of water from available resources.
In addition to the welcome increase in fishing numbers already reported earlier, our colleagues have constantly come across people who, out of simple ignorance, have broken the most basic rules.
Our fishermen took action against nearly 100 people a year, most of them received warnings, but based on our report, the fish management authority acted in several cases, resulting in an average fish protection fine of HUF 40-50,000, and the revocation of the state fishing ticket and ban from 3 to 3 years. .
