The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations is now the XVIII. announces the Youth Fishing Competition on Iron Waters. The central topics of the competition are the following, as in previous years: water, fish, fishing.
In order to achieve the above goals, the teams participating in the competition compare their skills in a two-round theoretical correspondence competition. At the end of the correspondence rounds, the teams move on to an on-site competition, where it is revealed which team knows the iron waters best. In 2023, in addition to testing intellectual knowledge, a joint team fishing competition will take place again.
In order to solve the tasks during the competition, four enthusiastic primary school youth (ages 10-15), an environment-loving and supportive teacher (who is also the team leader), a regularly read e-mail address, creativity, team spirit, as well as library and internet access are essential to solving the tasks. usage knowledge.
Teams of 4 people from primary schools located in the Association's area of activity - mainly in Vas and Zala counties - can enter the competition. The purpose of the competition is for the participating young people to get to know the wildlife of the natural waters of Vas county and to get to know the basics of fishing, and it also draws attention to the consumption of locally produced food that takes environmental impacts into account.
