VASIVIZEKEN-GARBOLINO-TACKLEBAITKÉTHÁTÁR-TÓ KUPA 2024. TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The first round of the VASIVIZEKEN-GARBOLINO-TACKLEBAITKÉTHATÁR-TÓ KUPA of the Best Sport Angler on Iron Waters competition series will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, organized by the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations in Kerkfalva, Zala County. A total of 55 people submitted their entries for the competition in three categories, considering the features of the lake, we could not have accepted more registrations.

The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations considers the following list of entries to be final:

• Competitive category

• Hobby adult category

• Youth category

According to preliminary plans, the 18 main competitors will be divided into two sectors, which will be designated on the Kerka stream side of the lake. The 30 pecs starting in the hobby adult category will be seated in three sectors, one of which will be on the same side as the competitors, while the other two will be on the side facing the Kerkafalva settlement, and the older ones will be seated on the shore side of the road leading to the lake.

In terms of competition rules, no major changes were made this time, only a minor addition was made, which reads exactly as follows:

Feed material - after pouring, in a ready-to-use state - a maximum of 20 liters and a maximum of 2.5 liters of bait can be used. ( max.: 0.5 liters of feeding mosquito larvae , in addition to 1/8/0.125 l/ of baited containers, the quantity of earthworms is max. 0.5 liters) - The limit of feeding material may contain a maximum of 1 liter of dry powder materials, which are exclusively the following can be: TTX, Liant a Coller, Litou, bone and feed material glue, powder aroma, gravel and powdery soil, which must be presented in a separate bucket or official measuring container during the limit check.

Rules:

• In accordance with the MOHOSZ regulations, a valid MOHOSZ driver's card is only required in the driver category.
• In the competitive category, the absolute extreme places are highlighted for each race. Anglers who have been drawn to the outermost places may no longer sit in the outermost places at the other stations of the competition series. This is supervised by the Organizing Committee on a round-by-round basis and ensured by a controlled draw.
• Feed material - after pouring, in a ready-to-use state - a maximum of 20 liters and a maximum of 2.5 liters of bait can be used. • In the competition, 1 rod can be used at the same time and no more than 1 single hook can be used on the rig. In the hobby category, both floating and bottom methods are allowed. In the competition category, you can only fish with the float method.
• In the hobby category, the use of a carp cradle or edged carp mattress is mandatory during the competition.
• All competitors must place 2 fish bags in the water at the beginning of the competition after the limit check. No more than 20 kg of fish can be stored in a fish tank. If the competitor's catch reaches 20 kg, he must also use a second fish holder. If additional fish holding bags are not available and the amount of fish caught is justified, the competitor may request an interim evaluation.
• The use of feeder rockets and spombs is prohibited in competitions!
• A valid fish caught and included in the competition is considered to be in the possession of the angler within the shore line at the start of the whistle signaling the end of the competition, or before that. Fish caught after the sound of the bagpipes are invalid and must be released immediately.
• The angler must report absence from the competition by calling 06703399707!
• In other non-regulated matters, the regulations of the MOHOSZ National Fine Hardware Competition and the position of the Organizing Committee shall govern.

We would also like to inform fellow anglers that on May 1, 2024 (Wednesday) from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., there will be a general ban on the entire area of Kéthatár lake in Kerkaval for anglers who have not entered the competition due to a fishing competition.
