VASI VIZEKEN COUNTY YOUTH COMPETITION 2024. TECHNICAL INFORMATION
On Sunday, June 23, 2024, the VASI VIZEKEN YOUTH FISHING COMPETITION - COUNTY YOUTH FISHING COMPETITION will be held on Lake Celldömölki. The event, which is supported by the MOHOSZ HUNOP grant, was not only open to secondary school students, but also elementary school students. A total of 9 young people applied for the competition before the registration deadline.
The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations considers the following list of entries per category to be final:

The competition consists of four events in both age groups. Participants start the day by writing a theory test, followed by a DIY fishing activity. After the first two obstacles, a 3-hour fish catch begins and the competition ends with a target shooting competition. The winner of the competition will be the one with the lowest overall ranking at the end of the day. In the event of a tie, the theory test, and in the event of further equality, the final result of the fishing competition will rank.
Awards: Competitors who place 1-3 in each category will be enriched with fishing gifts in addition to souvenirs. In addition, the top three high school winners of the "one-year" category of the competition - with the exception of travel costs - can participate in the finals of the MOHOSZ 2024 National Fishing Competition, which will be held in the summer, with full board (accommodation, meals).

Competition rules
- Students between the ages of 10 and 18 who are participating in primary and secondary education can apply for the competition. Those who have not reached the age of 15 in the relevant year can start in the "Pre-educated" category.
- It is forbidden to use mosquito larvae in the competition!
- In the competition, 1 rod can be used at the same time and no more than 1 single hook can be used on the rig. Only the swimming method can be used in the competition, max. rod length: 11.5 m.
- A maximum of 17 liters of feed material and 0.5 liters of live material (bones, pinkies, etc.) can be used in the competition. Duration of the fishing competition: 1 * 180 minutes.
- A valid fish caught and included in the competition is considered to be in the possession of the angler within the shore line at the start of the whistle signaling the end of the competition, or before that. Fish caught after the sound of the bagpipes are invalid and must be released immediately.
- The competitor is obliged to collect and transport the waste at his fishing spot.
- The angler must report absence from the competition by calling 06703399707!
- In other non-regulated matters, the MOHOSZ National Competition Regulations and the position of the Organizing Committee are the governing bodies.
Target shooting:
- With the 7.5-gram special lead "MOHOSZ árenberg board", 3 trials and 5 sharp throws at 10 meters, and 3 trials and 5 sharp throws at 15 meters (10/15 meters are measured from the line to the center of the circle)
- Target throwing stick length max. It can be 3 m.

FISHING PROHIBITED ON LAKE CELLDÖMÖLKI!
We hereby inform fellow anglers that on June 23, 2023 (Sunday) from 07:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., there will be a general ban on Lake Celldömölki for anglers who have not entered the competition due to the County Youth Fishing Competition.
