The stealing of nine carp cost nearly 300 thousand forints

In July, our Association received a first instance decision by the Fisheries Management Authority, which had already given rise to a final sentence, for a violent offense at Vadsa Lake.

As is known from our previous report, a fisherman and his companion on the lake wanted to catch 9 carp in the catch area, without being recorded in the catch log, when they were caught by a professional fisherman.

Vas County Government Office, Department of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, Department of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, Szombathely District Office as Competent Fisheries Authority VA-06 / AKF01 / 02129-3 / 2019. of the Government of the Republic of Hungary on the amount of fish protection fines, ordered the said persons to pay HUF 141,500, that is a total of HUF 283,000, for fish protection fines, and for a period of 3 years prohibited from changing the state fishing ticket.

Following the Authority's decision becoming effective, Section 3 of our current Fishing Ordinance has also prohibited the use of non-compliant anglers for a 5-year period from changing the territorial license of waters owned by the Federation of Sport Fishing Associations. According to our association, the offending fishermen, by committing an offense, have engaged in a series of abusive anti-community behavior that justifies a maximum ban on iron waters.

We trust that the consistent sanction imposed by the authorities will make it clear to everyone that the fish stock of our fishing waters operated and installed by the financial victims of the law-abiding fishermen, the work of our union workers and our volunteers cannot be without prey.

We would like to draw the attention of the T. Fishermen, that according to our fishermen's on-the-spot action, our Federation reports to the Fisheries Authority on all serious offenders!
