GOING TO THE WAY!!!
Thanks to the cooperation of the Vas County Association of Sports Fishing Associations, the Sárvíz-Tavi Fishing Association and the support of MOHOSZ, 42 child anglers were able to take part in the 30th International Weapons, Fishing, Hunting (FeHoVa) exhibition. Below you can read the report of the department heads Tamás Farkas (Szombathely), István Németh (Sárvár) and Ferenc Pukler (Rábapaty).
On Saturday, February 10, 2024, despite the early morning departure, the buses were filled with cheerful children. Separate buses rented for children left from Szombathely and Sárvár. The most frequently asked question on the road is, of course, "When will we get to FeHoVá?" volt.
There was a lot of traffic in Budapest, but we arrived at the Hungexpo area on time. It helped a lot that buses transporting children had a permit to enter and a designated parking lot.
The program started at the Energofish children's corner. Everyone received a scorecard and then a sticker for the completed tasks at the various stations. The tasks were diverse and interesting: Fish recognition - interactive session; the series of questions about the fishes of Hungary at the Great Aquarium; MOHOSZ stand - various games, tests; target staring.
It was difficult to "progress" in the huge hall, as every meter we stumbled upon new sights and famous fishermen, but we still arrived at the final station in full. We successfully completed all stations and were able to receive the gift packages.
As part of the free program, the children could try out virtual fishing, choose a reel or a stick. The hunting pavilion, where falconry and virtual shooting were unmissable, as was the dog show, which ended with petting the little pets.
After many, many high-quality programs, games, and knowledge tests, enriched with new information, we headed home a little tired but happy in the late afternoon.
Thank you for the work of MOHOSZ and Energofish Kft., who did everything to make us feel good and have an unforgettable experience. Special thanks to the County Association for its help with the tenders.
Report: Tamás Farkas (Szombathely), István Németh (Sárvár) and Ferenc Pukler (Rábapaty) are circuit leaders on behalf of the children's fishermen.
