Elektromosok SHE I. team is at the top again

Last weekend, this year's Vas Vármegyei Individual and Team Championship was held on Lake Abért II in Lukácsháza, in two rounds. At the same time, the competition of the individual youth championship took place on Saturday. Eight teams of four took part in the competition between the united teams, and last year's winner Elektromosok Sporthorgász Egyesület I. team dominated this time as well. After the first round, they were already in the lead, which they managed to maintain on the second day as well, bringing home the wanderer's cup again. The adult individual championship was won by Linter Hunor (Elektromosok SHE II.), while Máthé Zalán won the junior championship.

The first round brought close battles, where the Elektromosok SHE I. team caught 83,520 grams of fish and took the lead with 7 points. An outstanding performance was provided by Gábor Tordai, who strengthened his team with 27,820 grams. In second place was the I. team of the Körmendi Working Fishing Association with 66,980 grams and 12 points, while in third place was Elektromosok SHE II. finished with 58,400 grams.

There was also an exciting competition in the individual category:

1. Gábor Tordai (Electricians SHE I.) – 27,820 g
2. Patrik Giczi (Spartacus HE II.) – 23,440 g
3. Linter Hunor (Electricians SHE II.) – 20,620 g

There were no such excitements at the youth championship. Unfortunately, 3 of the 5 people expected in advance had to cancel their departure due to illness. Thus, the fate of the first place was decided between Zalán Máthé (Elektromosok SHE) and Zalán Vogl (Spartacus HE.). In the end, the former finished in first place with 6,580 grams.

On the second day, all teams prepared seriously to get the best possible positions. The Elektromosok SHE I. team finally retained its leading position with a total catch of 167,490 grams and 16 points, thanks to their balanced performance. Bálint Varga's catch of 46,110 grams stood out in particular. The MMX-Sensas team of Répcelak finished in second place with 136,500 grams, and the third place was taken by the I. team of the Körmendi Working Fishing Association with 131,770 grams.

• Team competition podium finishers:

1. Electricians SHE I. – 167,490 g, 16 points
2. Beetroot MMX-Sensas – 136,500 g, 29 points
3. Körmendi Munkás HE I. – 131,770 g, 29 points

Körmend Munkás Horgászegyesület I finished in third place with equal points, as the catch weights were less favorable for them.

In the individual competition, Linter Hunor (Elektromosok SHE II.) proved to be the best, securing first place with two sector 1s and 52,760 grams. The second place was won by Patrik Giczi (Spartacus HE II.) also with first place in two sectors and 48,840 grams, while Bálint Varga (Elektromosok SHE I.) finished in third place. It should be highlighted that Linter Hunor managed to obtain the adult individual championship title as a junior competitor.

The catches showed a significant decrease in the last week, but even so, the anglers managed to catch 919 kg of fish during the two rounds. In the competition, carp, crucian carp, bream and dwarf catfish were caught, along with a few grass carp. The weekend's sporty and intense competition brought a lot of excitement, at the end of which the competitors closed the day with a joint lunch and announcement of results.
