Dévérkeszeg and perch arrived in our waters with the support of MOHOSZ
Despite the worsening economic and fish procurement problems, our Association - in accordance with the provisions of the fisheries management plans - tries to ensure the replacement of whitefish and predatory stocks in addition to carp. Unfortunately, the drastic increase in fish prices also affected bream and predatory fish. [😱] Currently, the purchase price of bream ranges from HUF 1,200-1,300/kg, while a kg of perch exceeds HUF 6,000/kg. This year, in addition to nearly 60 tons of carp, 11,800 kg of white fish and 850 kg of predatory fish have already been released - in addition to this Friday's installation. (750 kg pike, 100 kg perch).
On Friday, the following quantities of fish arrived in our waters from Togazda Zrt.'s location in Nagyberk as a result of a whole day of fishing:
- Rába river section between Ikervár and Rum: 130 kg II. summer perch (about 200-250 pieces)
- Hunting lake: 250 kg II. summer bream
- Magyarszecsőd gravel mine lake: 300 kg II. summer bream
- Lake Hársas in Máriaújfalu: 300 kg II. summer bream
- Újperint I. no. gravel pit lake: 400 kg II. summer bream
- Szombathely Boating Lake: 500 kg II. summer bream
- Szombathely Fishing Lake: 250 kg II. summer bream
The installation of the Újperinti Lake and the Szombathely Boating Lake and Fishing Lake was realized with the support of Spartacus HE and Elektromosok HE, for which we also thank the associations.
The amount of fish planted was accompanied by the employees of our Association from the site to the waterfront, and the perch were released in smaller portions at several locations.
After the fish plantings, a general fishing ban was not ordered in any water area, so that everyone could indulge their passion in the autumn weather.
Once again, we ask our fellow anglers to show restraint when fishing for bream, which is registered as another fish, so that the stock has the opportunity to reproduce naturally in the spring.
We would like to draw the attention of fellow anglers to the fact that after catching and sorting the bream, and then transporting it over long distances, it is a natural phenomenon for a few % to die.
We ask our fishermen to show restraint when fishing for native bream species, and to draw the attention of their fellow anglers to this, so that specimens of hard-to-obtain bream and stocks have the opportunity to reproduce naturally in the spring.
A significant part of the installation is ÁPFE-IV/4/2022 issued by MOHOSZ. It was realized with the support of a partial tender entitled "Planting and reintroduction of standard and preferred native fish species"! Thank you for your support!
