Couple fishing competitions were held in Répcelak
On 23 June 2019, the Répcelaki Fishing Association organized a paired fishing competition on Csánigi Lake in Répcelak.
Out of the 15 pre-registered teams, 8 pairs named the Répcelak fishing association and the other 7 pairs from other Vas County associations. For the morning registration, all 30 people arrived despite the rather bad weather.
After describing the rules, the competition started at 7.30 am. It was raining almost all the time during the race, and it had a big impact on the fishes. At the time of the deliberation, this was unfortunate because many couples could not even catch fish. The total catch was 41.5 kg, but there was an outstanding result: György Szalai's catch weighed 11,580 grams, with 4 amur, 2 carp and a few pieces of crucian carp.
Among the guest teams, the organizers also won the best performing pair. Thus, Ákos Kovács and Norbert Misák (6820 g) received a special prize, the members of the Büki HE.

The cups offered by the Vas County Fishing Association were handed over to the first three runners in terms of individual results.
Individual end result:
1. György Szalai (11580 g) Répcelaki HE
2. Zoltán Töreki (5420 g) Répcelaki HE
3. Misák Norbert (4820 g) Büki HE
The biggest fish special prize, a fishing reel from the RépceZoo offer, was taken over by György Szalai for a 2340 g carp.
After the announcement of the results, Attila Kádi thanked everyone for their offerings and thanked the helpers, especially Zoltán Kiss for preparing the delicious lunch.
