Lake Celldömölki
ShareIn Celldömölk, the Vulkán Spa awaits its guests in an exceptionally beautiful, calm environment, with a panorama of the Ság mountains and pools filled with its own wells. The lake was built in the 20th century. can be dated to the beginning of the century. The average depth of the lake is 1.8-2 meters deep, but in some places there are parts 3-4 meters deep.
There is a shallow layer of silt in the bed, which covers the hard substrate. Today, the lake and its surroundings have become a popular fishing spot, and over the decades it has become a popular recreation park with its shady benches. Its coastal environment is varied by reeds, bushes, and groves. Its water area is 1.4274 ha.
Typical fish species of the Celldömölk lake: carp, grass carp, bream, crucian carp, pike, perch, pike. From the most popular fish, the carp, 20-25 mázá, while from other fish between 8-10 mázá, are put into the lake in several installments every year.
The lake has undergone a significant renovation, with log bench-table sets with shingle roofs, benches, a playground, and a place to relax. The parking lot and the promenade around the lake were renewed, and 30 fishing spots were created. An excellent location not only for fishermen, but also for families and groups of friends who want to spend their free time in nature.
