Nagypiriti gravel pit lake
ShareThe birth of the gravel mine lake in Nagypirit dates back to the 1950s and 1960s. The lake created by gravel mining has been fished since the 1980s. The many connected basins are separated from each other by dikes, peninsulas, and headlands.
Its water is kelp and clear. A depth of three meters is also not uncommon, which is why they do not support, and in fact, specifically prohibit fishing in Lék. However, it could only be fished effectively in winter, as the seaweed that rises in the warmer months makes the terrain significantly more difficult.
The main fish is the pike, but a good number of bream, carp and grass carp can also be found in the lake.
