We greet and invite everyone to cooperate

Not only did the school and the new school year start on September 1, but the life of the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations also reached a new milestone. In the autumn of 15 years ago, the headquarters of our organization moved from Szombathely to Vaskeresztes, as a result of a tourism development, which has been a rarity in the life of county-wide organizations ever since.

In our new rural “home,” in the magnificent Pinka Valley, with our colleagues, fishing leaders, and our community of 11,000 anglers today, we have achieved a wealth of common results over the past decade and a half. Through working together, we have been able to work with very valuable people in the area and across the county to improve our fishing waters, local tourism and our area.

We would like to thank everyone who has helped and will continue to help us in the development of Vas County and Iron Waters. Through the complex performance of its tasks and the collection of fifteen years of rural development experience, our association had the opportunity to implement the project “Promotion of local values and experiences in the Pannonian Regional Development Association”, which is scheduled to end on 30 June 2023.

One of the main goals of the project is to focus on the importance of local values and experiences among tourists visiting the area and the residents of Vas County. For the first time, a regional Facebook and Instragram page called “Pannon Experience” was created and operated as part of the project from yesterday. Our goal is to continuously present the events and attractions taking place in the territory of the Pannonian Regional Development Association on the community surfaces, as well as to provide up-to-date information to the visitors of our community pages. According to our plans, the website www.pannonelmeny.hu will be launched this year, where those interested can also read colorful information about the programs and local values in the area.

The competition will provide several free promotional opportunities for local governments and local NGOs, which can further strengthen the attractiveness of the region and their civil relationship with the association.
