VIII. PINKA-VÖLGYI FISH DAY FRIENDLY FISHING COMPETITION - TECHNICAL INFORMATION
On Saturday, July 9, 2022, the Pinka-völgyi Fish Day will be held for the eighth time, during which anglers can compare their fishing skills in three water areas in three categories under competitive conditions.
We can no longer accept registrations for the fishing competitions, the available places are full! The competition places will be set up as usual in previous years:
- Adult hobby category: Vaskeresztesi Pinka-holtág
- Competition category: Vaskeresztes Municipality lake
- Youth category: Alpine Fishing Lake in Vaskeresztes

Course of the competition:
The competition will be held in a 4-hour round, according to the following schedule:
6.45 Registration
7.00 Technical meeting, opening, draw
7.30 - 9.00 Reservation of seats, preparation time
8.50 - 9.00 Feeding
9.00 - 13.00 Catching fish
13.00-14.00 Weighing
13.30 – 14.45 Lunch
15.00 Announcement of results
Most important rules:
- All competitors must have a state fishing license valid for the year 2022 on the day of the competition.
- It is mandatory to use ring-shaped fish-holding mouthpieces!
- Feed material - after pouring, in a ready-to-use state - a maximum of 20 liters and a maximum of 2.5 liters of bait can be used. (max.: 1 liter of feeding mosquito larvae, on top of that, stick mosquitoes in a 1/8 /0.125 l/ bait container, the quantity of earthworms is max. 0.5 liters)
- We evaluate the participants in a separate sector for each location!
- In the competition, 1 rod can be used at the same time and no more than 1 single hook can be used on the rig. In the competition, it can be used with both the swimming and bottom methods in the hobby category. In the competition category, you can only fish with the float method.
- In the hobby category, the use of a carp mattress is mandatory!
- The use of feeder rockets and spombs is prohibited in competitions!

FISHING PROHIBITION DURING THE PINKA-VÖLGYI FISH DAY!
We would like to inform fellow anglers that on July 9, 2022 (Saturday) from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., due to the fishing competitions that will be held as part of the Pinka Valley Fish Day, there will be a general ban on the following water areas for anglers who have not entered the competition:
Vaskeresztes Pinka backwater
Vaskeresztes Municipal Lake
Vaskeresztes Alpine Fishing Lake
