Last Saturday, the Fishing Ball gave the members of the Bük Fishing Association and their friends a fun time, as the carnival season is a time of gathering for the beginning of the year and the foundation of community work.

The event was opened by Ádám Csürös, president of the association in 2019, and welcomed Norbert Puskás, the executive chairman of the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations, who congratulated him on his election as the vice president of MOHOSZ.

Subsequently, Róbert Baranyai, Deputy Mayor of Bük, welcomed those present. In his speech, it was said that the age composition of the guests does not have to worry about the stagecraft, as the number of young people on the waterfront is growing, which is a welcome thing.

After the opening ceremony, all participants had the best dinner ever in the history of fishing balls, and then Csaba Ábrahám, representing the Relatives Orchestra, presented what a real party was. Starting to sell raffles only added to the mood. Excitement broke through the inn, and everyone was trying to catch their luck during the evening.

At 11 o'clock, the draw of the winning coupons began, bringing joy to both the little ones and the big ones. Many offerings included live flowers, unique wooden drink holders (not empty of course) and gift baskets and vouchers. The most valuable raffle items included a plentiful gift basket, wellness breaks, and of course, most of all, the Vas County Fishing Association's offer: a fishing ticket for all the waters of Vas County worth more than 40,000 HUF!

Ákos Kovács , vice president of the association, one of the main organizers thanked the donors for their many donations during the evening. To sum up, the evening passed in an extraordinary mood. There was no shortage of delicious food, good music, and of course, an unforgettable exchange of experiences for anglers. Techniques used in the area around the tables and in fishing waters throughout the country were analyzed. With lots of valuable raffle prizes and a lovely memory, everyone returned home on Sunday morning.
