The winners of the 2024 Vasi Vizeken – Garbolino – TackleBait Competition Series were awarded.
On December 12, 2024, the official results of the 2024 Vasi Vizeken – Garbolino – TackleBait Sport Fishing Competition Series were announced at the annual board meeting of the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations. The competitors, fishing association leaders and guests invited to the event gathered excitedly to celebrate this season's winners together.
Miklós Seregi , the president of the association, opened the event, greeting those present, and then handed over the floor to Norbert Puskás , the executive president of the association, who summarized the most important moments and results of the competition series, which was held for the fifteenth time.
The competition began on May 1st in Kerkafalva, with the Kéthatár-tó Cup , and it turned into an exciting, eventful season. During the multi-round series, the participants tested their skills on the most beautiful waters of the county: various lakes in Gersekarát, Lukácsháza, and Kerkafalva hosted the competitions. This year, 44 hobby anglers (adult and youth categories) and 29 competitors entered the competition, proving that the passion for sport fishing is flourishing in Vas County.
The competitions were closely fought, fiercely contested and unforgettable moments were created. The varied locations and weather conditions tested the fishermen's preparation, patience and endurance. By the end of the season, the results remained open throughout, and the top positions were often decided by a single point difference.

- Zoltán Török - Electricians SHE. – 65 points
- Hobby youth category:
- Áron Hajós - Körmendi Worker HE. – 61 points
- Máthé Zalán - Electricians SHE. – 60 points
- Zsolt Bálint - Körmendi Worker HE. – 52 points

The award ceremony was a special moment when the participants celebrated the podium with applause, highlighting the achievements of this year's winners Róbert Horváth , Áron Hajós and Bálint Varga . In addition to the exciting competition, the community experience and sportsmanship defined the atmosphere of the series this year as well.
The presidency of the association thanked the participants, organizers and supporters for their work, without whom this success would not have been possible. In his speech, Norbert Puskás said that special thanks should be given to BNT Business and Trading Kft, which distributes the Garbolino – TackleBait brand. Thanks to the many years of cooperation with the company, the most successful competitors in our fishing competitions, in addition to cups and medals, were also enriched with valuable gift vouchers, as was the final result when advertising.
The message at the end of the season was: "Let's meet again in 2025 on the Vasi Vizes!" - because the love of community and the Vasi waters continues to hold the competitive anglers of Vas County together.
