Our fishing competition for primary school children has started for the twentieth time, with 18 teams entering this year. The central themes of the competition will be as follows this year: water, fish, fishing. The tasks for the first correspondence round were sent out today and are available in the attachment below this news.

We have sent the tasks for the first - theoretical correspondence - round of the Youth Fishing Competition on Vasi Vizeken to the e-mail addresses provided during registration. Please note that information found on the internet cannot generally be considered a professionally credible source, so always research in specialist books and journals.

The deadline for submitting the solutions to the tasks is April 27, 2025. (The date of submission is the date of posting the envelope containing the task, the date of posting it by parcel post, and the online time stamp. Tasks received after the submission deadline will be scored zero points without any substantive examination.) In all cases, please indicate the name of the team next to the name of your school on the postal envelope, as specified.

The first task of the first round is to come up with an imaginative team flag that clearly identifies your team. The flag can be made of textile, in a vertical format, with dimensions of at least 50 cm X 70 cm. The flag cannot be made digitally or printed! We do not ask you to send a flagpole to complete the tasks! (10 points)

New! In the case of the evaluation of Round 1, if the total points achieved are the same, the team that submitted its online task set first, i.e. with an earlier time stamp, will finish first.

The submitted assignments will be evaluated within 15 days of the submission deadline. The results will be published on the Association's website.
