The summer carp stocking program has started.
On June 10, the first pontoon shipments arrived in the waters managed by the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations, marking the beginning of the summer fish stocking program.
In the first phase of the installation, the Szombathely Boating Lake was enriched with 600 kilograms, while the Szombathely Fishing Lake was enriched with 300 kilograms of three-year-old carp.
The release of more than 9 tons of carp will continue in the coming days, with the aim of increasing the effectiveness of the summer fishing season and developing the fish stock in federal waters.

June 16.

- Gencsapáti–Perenyei Lake – 400 kg
- Csepreg Lake – 300 kg
- Lake Kerkaszentkirály – 300 kg

The interest in the waters of Vásárlón is clearly demonstrated by the fact that 11,173 people have already purchased their licenses for this year. Thanks to the significant fish stocking, the already excellent fishing opportunities will be even better in many water areas in the coming weeks.
It is therefore worth monitoring the development of the plantings and taking advantage of the summer period.

The possibility of personal administration (e.g. ticket exchange, fishing card application, etc.) at the Association's customer service office in Vaskerestes is available by prior appointment from January 6, 2026.
