The Rába River and the surrounding stagnant waters were the targets of Saturday's inspection

On Saturday, May 8, the professional fishermen of our association carried out increased inspections on several sections of the Rába River in order to inspect carp and catfish and other fish species protected by the ban. Our fishermen boarded the boat again and in accordance with the established practice, the water boat inspection was accompanied from the shore by the fish guard colleagues.
True lovers of the Rába River were not deterred by the ban on the “main” fish species, but it can be seen that fewer than usual landed in the finally spring time. After a thorough inspection of the river, the Halőr troops with the exception of a few warnings - no fishing action was taken.
According to the plans of our association, the boat inspections affecting the Rába, in the whole area of Vas county, will continue until late autumn of this year as well.
