The fish stock of the Pinka stream was updated with 600 kg of bream
Approaching the last plantings of the year, last Thursday a total of 600 kg of beautiful, healthy, two-year-old bream found a new home in the entire section of Pinka. The deployment affected Vaskeresztes, Horvátlövő and Szentpéterfá, as well as the Vaskeresztes backwater.
The Pinka stream already received 1000 kg of one-year-old bream once in the spring, so this year's release reaches 1600 kg. The installation was carried out by Togazda Zrt. with the cooperation of our colleagues, József Mesterházy and István Fördős .
Our association pays special attention to the fact that the waters in our management delight anglers with a variety of death lures. Although carp fishing remains the most popular, in order to maintain diversity and the health of the ecosystem, the stocking of whitefish and predatory species also played an important role in this year's fish management plans.
The project received partial support from the MOHOSZ ÁPFE-VI/4/2024 grant, which promotes the planting of native fish species.
