The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Anglers 'Associations held its Delegates' Meeting on the last Saturday of May at the Iron Cross Center of the Association, where the organization was awarded the most prestigious county awards, the .
On the recommendation of the governing committee of the association, these recognitions can be accepted each year by the most valuable fishermen, volunteers, supporters and successful sports partners in the field of competitive sports. In addition to the award, there is a lifelong territorial ticket for the iron waters. The awards are given by the President of the Association, Handed over by Miklós Seregi and Norbert Puskás, managing chairmen , at the beginning of the delegates' meeting.
The president of the association first called Zsuzsanna Krizsán , the editor-in-chief, presenter and creative director of Szombathely Television, and the correspondent of M4 Pecatúra in Vas county, and then described her work to promote fishing. Zsuzsanna Krizsán has been an employee of Szombathely City Television for more than fifteen years. He worked first as a teletext and then as a web editor, later as an editor-reporter and editor-in-chief, and still works today. For the past 12 years, almost every fishing-themed report has been edited by him. Together with his colleagues, he also frequently reports for M4 Pecatúra magazine on iron waters. In his spare time, if he can do fishing with his family, it is also due to the fact that the fishing materials he makes are professionally correct and have colorful, interesting content.
After receiving the award, Zsuzsanna Krizsán thanked for the recognition and said that this award goes to the entire team of Szombathely Television, our colleagues, because without their work she would not have been able to produce reports, films and news materials on fishing.
The second winner this year, Dániel Szabó, who received an award for his fishing sport in Vas County, was a spinning angler. Dániel Szabó, a member of the Elektromosok Sporthorszász Association for more than four decades, has been actively assisting his association since the age of 25-30 in volunteering, issuing tickets, organizing competitions, and already in 1996 he held a winter fishing school for young people. He is also involved in fishing on a daily basis and is currently a salesman and test angler at Trabucco Fishing Center. Last year he became the silver medalist of the 1st Trout Area Spinning National Championship and thus a member of the Hungarian team and national team starting at the Trout Area World Cup.
Next, Dr. Tamás Molnár, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Pannonia Anglers' Association, a member of the Supervisory Board of the Association, received an award for the Fishing of Vas County. Dr. Tamás Molnár has been a member of the Pannonia Fishing Association since 1990. He has taken an active part in the work of the association to this day. Since 2005 he has been the chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Pannonia Fishing Association. He has been an active member of the Association's Supervisory Board since 2008. He performs his audit tasks accurately and helpfully, and he participates in the work of his association voluntarily.
Balázs Németh, a World Championship silver medal angler, has also gained recognition for his fishing sport in Vas County. After the awards were presented, there was a break for a few minutes, after which the meeting resumed with the discussion of the agenda items. In the past, there have been personnel changes in the management of two of our member associations. The Hegyfalu and Countryside HE. and the Kerka HE of Kerkaszentkirály. a new president has also taken over. The Delegates' Assembly of the Vas County Association of Sport Angling Associations elected Zsolt Körös (Hegyfalu HE.) And Ádám Simon ( Kerka HE .
After the election of the officers and the approval of the report of the Supervisory Board, the 4th agenda item was the report of Norbert Puskás, the executive chairman of the Association , on the work done since the 2021 Delegates' Meeting. Furthermore, the managing director spoke about the current organizational challenges affecting the future in the framework of a daily routine, to which several leaders of member associations were also involved. The voluminous written organizational report revealed that the dynamically rising desire to change fishing tickets, which was already being felt in the first months of last year, was increasing. In the 29 member associations of the Association, the number of adult and child anglers reached a record-high of 11,082 in 2020 in 2011 as well as 11,524. It is a great pleasure that out of this number of members, the number of children exchanging state tickets was 1,781, an increase of 127 people. Thanks to the EU and domestic development tenders won in recent years, as well as the dynamically increasing regional ticket sales, the Association's total revenue in 2021 exceeded HUF 300 million. In 2001, the Association was able to place 85,183 kg of one-and two-three-year-old fish and 75,150 pre-farmed native fish in the iron waters. In accordance with the fisheries management plans approved by the authority and the needs of the fishermen, the largest quantities of carp of the size that can be caught have been introduced into the fishing waters. In addition to carp dominance, the organization tries to focus on the introduction of other native fish species (eg goats, trout, catfish, bream) as much as possible, depending on the procurement opportunities.
Following the presentation of the professional report, the financial statements were presented to Etelka Bíró, Chief Financial Officer. The calendar of work plans and programs was also on the agenda of the meeting, but the delegates also approved the proposals for the membership fee and this year's budget. A Nomination Committee has also been set up to prepare for the 2023 renewal. In conclusion, there were several important general topics affecting fishermen (approach to Lake Rábasömjén, ensuring the presentation of territorial fishing tickets ... etc.).
