Pinka Valley Fish Day for the ninth time

We are preparing for this year's IX. On Pinka-Völgyi Halas Day. Our event will take place on Saturday, July 8, 2023, in the already well-accustomed beautiful surroundings, in Vaskeresztes, in the Pinka Valley, including in the area of the Alpine Hospitality and Fishing Tourist Center.

The Vas County Association of the organizing Sportfishing Associations considers it important that this day be for the public interested in fishing and fish food, as well as for families. This year too, the friendly fishing competition will be held in three categories, and then, with the participation of families and groups of friends, better and better dishes will be prepared in the fish soup and fish food preparation competition.

The atmosphere around the house of the cooking teams is great every year, and after the judging, they are happy to entertain the visitors with the gastronomic wonders they have prepared.

The stage programs start in the early afternoon in the Alpesi Fogadó event space. First, the traditionalists of Vaskeresztes will open the event, and then you can watch the spectacular show of the Szombathely Rope Jumping Club . After the greetings and the ceremonial announcement of the results, the youngest can gather in front of the stage, as BRANDNYÚL will perform at our place. The children will be waiting for the whole afternoon in the balloon canaan, an air castle with a huge slide, various fun fish games for children, face painting and a fun clown show.

At the Tacklebait fishing show, fishing enthusiasts can learn about new techniques and learn about the company's excellent products. At the event, thanks to the Mittl winery, there will also be a wine tasting.
The programs of the fish day can be visited free of charge, and it will be possible to taste centrally prepared fish dishes by paying a supporter's contribution of HUF 1,000: those interested can taste fish soup, fried fish, smoked catfish and fish bass, among other fish food specialties.

In the evening raffle, we will draw prizes worth hundreds of thousands of forints. Just like last year, the day will end this year with a wild concert by the local band Žgano .
