National method feeder qualifiers and semi-finals are organized by Vas county
The Hungarian National Fishermen's Association has recently announced the VI. Method Feeder National Championship qualifiers. As last year, this year as well, our county will host the qualifiers of the championship, moreover, Lake Abért will now play a role as a venue for the semi-finals.
This year’s Method Feeder OB competition consists of a 2-round qualifier, a 3-round semi-final and a 3-round final. The 80 competitors who advanced from the qualifiers will be added to the first 40th place in the previous year's method feeder ranking, and thus 120 competitors will advance to the semi-finals of the championship, which will take place in 2021: Kiskunhalas, Lukácsháza, Székesfehérvár
In the “regular season”, the feeder pecs will have the opportunity to qualify for the semi-finals of the Lukácsházi Abért II. tavon. The first qualifier will take place on April 17-18, 2020, while the second qualifier will take place on April 24-25.
Competitors who reach the semi-finals will be distributed to three different racetracks, to the semi-finals of 40 people per racetrack by a public draw. From the semi-finals, 40 competitors will advance to the final, where they will take with them their place in the semi-finals. From the three locations, the first 13-13-13 competitors can advance to the final, and in addition, taking into account the final results of all three semi-finals, the 14th place competitor with the best place number (in case of scoring) will be added to the finalists.
The final will thus be held with 40 participants, in three rounds, on three consecutive days at the Maconkai Reservoir in Bátonyterenye at the very end of July. The final ranking is based on the three sector rankings achieved in the semi-finals and the total number of places in the three rounds of the final (points scored for the sector result and the weight caught). The winner of the championship will win the national title of method feeder.
In order to successfully prepare the competitors, the VI. Prior to the Method Feeder National Championship Semifinals, several method feeder cups will be held on Lake Abért in April and May. The entry fee for the pre-competitions will open on our website on Monday 01 March at 10 am!
