All pontoon shipments reached their destination

This year's large summer carp stocking program of the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations has been completed. The fish stocking planned for mid-June was almost entirely carried out according to the preliminary schedule, thus the waters under federal management were enriched with a significant amount of catchable three-year-old carp by the start of the summer fishing season.

All pontoon shipments reached their destination

As part of the stocking program , a total of 9,200 kilograms of carp were released into federal waters. The fish arrived from the Csertő site of Tógazda Halászati Zrt. and reached the designated fishing waters according to a predetermined schedule.

As the first stop of the program, on June 10, the Szombathely Boating Lake was enriched with 600 kilograms, while the Szombathely Fishing Lake was enriched with 300 kilograms of three-year-old carp.

On June 17, the Rába and Ikervár artificial canals received 400 kilograms, Rábasömjén Lake received 400 kilograms, Csánigi Mine Lake received 500 kilograms, Merseváti Lake received 400 kilograms, and Celldömölk Brick Factory and Park Lake received 500 kilograms of carp. On the closing day, June 18, Lake Hársas and Lake Magyarszecsődi both gained 1,000 kilograms each, Lake Vasvár gained 500 kilograms, Lake Püspökmolnár gained 500 kilograms, Lake Újperinti gained 500 kilograms, Lake Szombathely gained another 600 kilograms, Lake Szombathely gained another 400 kilograms, Lake Gencsapáti–Perenyei gained 400 kilograms, Lake Csepregi gained 300 kilograms, Lake Kerka in Kerkaszentkirály gained 300 kilograms, Lake Vadása gained 300 kilograms, and Lake Kéhhatár gained 300 kilograms of carp.

The installation of the Döröskei reservoir was completed one day later than originally planned, but a slightly larger quantity of fish arrived in the water area than planned. Instead of the planned 600 kilograms, 639 kilograms of carp were finally placed.

The goal of the summer stocking program was to ensure that adequate fish stocks were available to anglers during the busiest time of the season, further improving fishing opportunities and the fishing experience in federal waters.
