More than 9 tons of carp arrive
The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations is implementing a major carp stocking program ahead of the summer fishing season. According to plans, a total of 9,200 kilograms of three-summer carp will be introduced into the waters managed by the association in mid-June, and the Döröskei Reservoir will also be replenished with an additional 600 kilograms of carp.
The fish arrive from the Csertő site of Tógazda Halászati Zrt. according to the following schedule:
June 10 (Wednesday)
- Szombathely Boating Lake – 600 kg
- Szombathely Fishing Lake – 300 kg
June 17 (Wednesday)
- Rába, Ikervár artificial canal – 400 kg
- Rábasömjén Lake – 400 kg
- Csánig mining lake – 500 kg
- Lake Mersevát – 400 kg
- Celldömölk Brick Factory and Park Lake – 500 kg
June 18 (Thursday)
- Lake Hársas – 1000 kg
- Lake Magyarszecsőd – 1000 kg
- Vasvár lakes – 500 kg
- Půspökmolnár Lake – 500 kg
- Újperint mining lake – 500 kg
- Szombathely Boating Lake – another 600 kg
- Szombathely Fishing Lake – another 400 kg
- Gencsapáti–Perenyei Lake – 400 kg
- Csepreg Lake – 300 kg
- King Kerkaszentkirály, Lake Kerka – 300 kg
- Lake Vadasa – 300 kg
- Lake Kęthar-tó – 300 kg
The aim of the installations is to further improve fishing opportunities and increase the chances of catching fish in federal waters during the summer season.
We would like to draw the attention of anglers to the fact that the dates and quantities of deployments may change depending on the fishing, weather conditions, and transportation conditions. We will provide information about any changes on our website and social media.

The possibility of personal administration (e.g. ticket exchange, fishing card application, etc.) at the Association's customer service office in Vaskerestes is available by prior appointment from January 6, 2026.

• Wednesday: 8:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.;
• Thursday: 8:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.;
• Friday: 8:15 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.;
• Saturday-Sunday: no customer service
