More than 8,000 small spiny ducks have entered the Rába River
In accordance with the plans and promises of the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Anglers, in addition to carp plantations, it will pay special attention to strengthening the juvenile predator population if it is possible to obtain these valuable native species. On Monday, we managed to buy perch between 10 and 20 cm, which were placed in the Rába River after on-site deliberation.
In total, more than 8,000 pieces. It was dismantled on a small spiny ridge from Monday afternoon to evening, from the Sárvár-Ikervári section of the Rába River to the Alsószölnö dam section, between 800 and 1,200 in some places.
When choosing the location of the installations, our fishermen tried to take into account the cormorant danger in addition to the size of the water bodies, so we hoped that the new inhabitants of the river would be able to hide quickly on the affected sections.
We ask our T. Fellow Fishermen to spare undersized and sensitive small perch during their fishing, giving them a chance to thrive to an acceptable size and reproduce naturally.
The introduction of perch was carried out with the 45% financial support of the MOHOSZ Replenishment and Development Target Appropriation (ÁPFE-III / 4 / 2801-20 / 2021.), With the help of which our Association plans to replenish the bream and predators of the water areas managed by it.
