MOHOSZ held the 1st National Fisheries Management Staff Meeting
Between November 25 and 27, 2024, the 1st National Fisheries Management Staff Forum and Meeting was held on Dobogókő, in the picturesque Cardoner Hotel and Conference Center. The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations was also represented at the event by Etelka Biró, Judit Polgárné Németh and Norbert Puskás. We would also like to thank the Hungarian National Fishing Association (MOHOSZ) for the opportunity to be a part of this special event.
The primary goal of the forum was to allow colleagues working in administrative positions at MOHOSZ's member organizations to get to know each other personally, exchange experiences and strengthen cooperation. The three-day program was enriched by lectures, playful contests and joint evening programs, which served both professional development and community building.
On Monday, Erika MOHOSZ Csizmár, the director, greeted the attendees and wished everyone a meaningful recreation. Dr. Aranka Kulcsár, head of the Administration and Organization Department, spoke about the organizational structure of MOHOSZ, while director Erika Csizmár explained the future developments of the HORINFO system. In the last presentation of the day, customer relations manager György Schuszt presented the tasks of the Central Customer Service Office (KÜSZI). The evening ended with a music recognition game, where the participants could prove their musical knowledge in cheerful teams.
On Tuesday, more professionally meaningful presentations followed, among others by András Belovai, head of the accounting department , and Tibor Székely, deputy head of the fisheries department .
Károly Ladányi, head of the Procurement and Operations Department, gave a comprehensive presentation of the process of asset procurement, highlighting steps aimed at simplification and efficiency. Fisheries specialist Orsolya Kende and youth and education officer Adrienn Tóth gave an exciting presentation on the content and formal requirements for the settlement of ÁPFE and HUNOP tenders.
The highlight of the day were the afternoon playful contests, where the participants could compare their skill and knowledge in eight different tasks.
During the competitions, all the teams gave a great performance. The first place was won by the team of the Association of Angling Associations of Körösvidék, followed by the teams of Fejér Counties, Bács-Kiskun Counties, and then the teams of Budapest Fishing Associations.
Similar to fish guards, the demand for uniform, practical work clothes also arose among administrative workers. At the meeting, two different sets of clothes were presented, which are not only functional, but can also provide a uniform appearance, strengthening the community's identity.
On Wednesday, on the closing day of the event, informative presentations awaited the participants again. Dr. Aranka Kulcsár explained the regulation of fishing competitions in the waters of his sub-use permit, and then Ákos Kovács, the deputy editor-in-chief of Magyar Horgász, spoke about the magazine and the websites of MOHOSZ. Finally, Dr. The event ended with the greeting and summing up thoughts of Director General István Dérer .
The event provided a meaningful and memorable experience for all participants. Based on the positive feedback, the organizers hope that the meeting can become a tradition, similar to the national fishing watch event, which will further strengthen the unity of the fishing profession.
