Lake trout fishing was the main event on Saturday in Vaskeresztes

Thanks to the mild winter weather, the first Trout Area presentation open day at Vaskeresztes Alpine Lake took place in pleasant conditions. About twenty participants gathered to participate in the program, the central theme of which was lake trout fishing.

After the morning meeting , Gábor Orbán and Dániel Szabó greeted those present and shared with them the course of the day. During the tactical and practical presentations, both Gábor and Dániel talked about how it is worth fishing in different parts of the lake and in changing weather conditions. The selection of tools, such as rods, reels and lures, and their correct use were also discussed. The participants had the opportunity to try out the newly acquired knowledge in practice.

Although the trout were less willing to take than expected. The event was still successful in the sense that the participants formed a community, exchanged experiences and enjoyed spending time outdoors in beautiful surroundings. However, such situations are inherent challenges of fishing that can be educational and motivating for participants to further develop their techniques and knowledge of fish behavior. Of course, some trout were also hooked, which meant the best moments of the day. In addition, it was an interesting turn when one of the participants caught a nice carp while spinning.
