Lake Döröske has been enriched with perch and bream
The Hungarian National Fishermen's Association - MOHOSZ, as the fish management authority of the Döröske reservoir, carried out the planting of 150 kg of two-year-old perch and 500 kg of bream on November 21, based on the provisions of the approved fish management plan. The fish are sold by Togazda Zrt. was launched from its site in Zalaszentgrót, further adding color to the reservoir's growing fish stock.
The fish management team leader of the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations, which provides protection and supervision of the water area, supervised and monitored the installation. After a hiatus of many years, from June 1, 2024, within the framework of the Hungarian National Fishing Association - MOHOSZ, sport fishing on the Döröske Reservoir will once again be available using the available shore sections.
The Hungarian National Fishing Association - MOHOSZ and the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations are working to bring the water area back into the tourist and leisure cycle. A long-term fishing tourism agreement is being prepared between the two organizations so that from 2025, the area tickets specified by the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations will also be valid for Lake Döröskei, subject to the retention of noble fish.
