IX. PINKA-VÖLGYI FISH DAY FRIENDLY FISHING COMPETITION - TECHNICAL INFORMATION

On Saturday, July 8, 2023, the Pinka-völgyi Fish Day will be held for the ninth time, during which anglers can compare their fishing skills in three water areas in three categories under competitive conditions. We can no longer accept registrations for the fishing competitions, the available places are full! All important information related to the competition is published below.

IX. PINKA-VÖLGYI FISH DAY FRIENDLY FISHING COMPETITION - TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The competition places will be set up as usual in previous years:

Course of the competition: The competition will be held in a 4-hour round, according to the following schedule:

🕑 6.45 Registration

🕑 7.00 Technical meeting, opening, draw

🕑 7.30 - 9.00 Reservation of seats, preparation time

🕑 8.50 - 9.00 Feeding

🕑 9.00 - 13.00 Catching fish

🕑 13.00-14.00 Weighing

🕑 13.30 – 14.45 Lunch

🕑 15.00 Results announcement

Rules:

• All competitors must have a state fishing license valid for the year 2023 on the day of the competition.

• The use of a ring-shaped fish holder is mandatory!

• Feed material - after pouring, in a ready-to-use state - a maximum of 20 liters and a maximum of 2.5 liters of bait can be used. (max.: 1 liter of feeding mosquito larvae, on top of that, put a mosquito in a 1/8 /0.125 l/ bait container, the quantity of earthworms is max. 0.5 liters)

• Participants are evaluated in a separate sector for each location!

• In the competition, 1 rod can be used at the same time and no more than 1 single hook can be used on the rig. In the competition, it can be used with both the swimming and bottom methods in the hobby category. In the competition category, you can only fish with the float method.

• In the hobby category, the use of a carp cradle or a carp mattress is mandatory during the competition.

• The use of feeder rockets and spombs is prohibited in competitions!

• A valid fish caught and included in the competition is considered to be in the possession of the angler within the shore line at the start of the whistle signaling the end of the competition, or before that. Fish caught after the sound of the bagpipes are invalid and must be released immediately.

• The competitor is obliged to collect and transport the waste at his fishing spot.

• The angler must report absence from the competition by calling 06703399707!

• In other non-regulated matters, the MOHOSZ National Competition Regulations and the position of the Organizing Committee are the governing

FISHING PROHIBITION DURING THE PINKA-VÖLGYI FISH DAY!

We would like to inform fellow anglers that on July 8, 2023 (Saturday) from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., there will be a general ban for anglers who have not entered the competition in the following water areas due to the fishing competitions held as part of the Pinka Valley Fish Day:
