Fishing Portrait Gallery – interview with executive chairman Norbert Puskás
It is a great honor for us that Norbert Puskás, the executive president of our Association, was introduced in the “Hall of Fishing Portraits” section of the prestigious HALÁSZAT trade journal, which has been published since 1899, in the fall 2025 issue.
In the interview, Prof. Dr. Béla Urbányi answers questions and tells us how fishing turned from a childhood experience into a profession, how he sees the past and future of the fishing community, and what goals guide him in his daily work.
It also discusses responsibility for natural and community values, and the challenges and tasks that determine the future of fish farming and fishing.
At the end of the conversation, we can also get a little insight into how he spends his free time and what role fishing plays in his family life.
